Mockenreviews dedicated blog launched

Due to the essential death of Domus Ludorum, in addition to its plague of spam, I have decided to follow through with my project of game reviews on a new blog. The content there is, at the moment, solely dedicated to the game review project. It may eventually expand in scope, but this is something I want to tackle and there's no way to do it than to just do it. All relevant DL posts of mine have been transferred over to the new site, and new content will be arriving shortly, and regularly. Check it out here:

Thanks for reading everyone, and hope to see you at the new home.

Status of the Mockenreviews

So here's what I'm thinking. It's ambitious and stupid, and not likely to ever see completion (or much work at all, for that matter). That said, I'd like to give it a whirl starting this summer and see what I can accomplish:

Week ending April 17

Week ending on April 17
Anime Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Brotherhhod; Hayate no Gotoku season 2; 07-Ghost
Manga Bleach; Ubel Blatt
Books Ulyssess by James Joyace; Proven Guilty and White Knight by Jim Butcher
Games Disgea 3; Halo 3; Street Fighter 4; Dead Rising

New Anime

So the new season of anime's have been released over in Japan and it is time for me to start using the bandwidth I pay for to grab more stuff. So first off the big news "Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Brotherhood" has started, and this one came as a big surprise to me, since I had no idea they even announced a new series. Also the long awaited "Hayate no Gotoku 2" has started, this one I was expecting and am glad for it to be here. Another that I picked up and watched the first episode of is "07-Ghost". And in my downloading fever I am grabbing one from last season that I meant to watch "Rideback." And when I watched "Char's Counterattack" last week it reminded me to pick up the original "Mobile Suit Gundam 0079."

This Week: 4/10

Fortnight ending on April 10
Anime Legend of the Galactic Heroes; Char's Counter Attack
Manga Fullmetal Alchemist
Books Ulyssess by James Joyace; Proven Guilty by Jim Butcher
Games Disgea 3; Halo Wars; Street Fighter 4
DnD Rolled a Longtooth Shifter Warden lvls 1,11,21

Cant recommend the Fullmetal Alchemist Manga to enough people start reading it stat!!!

This Week: 3/27

Week ending on March 27
Anime N/A
Books Dead Beat by Jim Butcher
Games Disgea 3; Resident Evil 5
DnD PHB2

This is a rough estimate of the form I am going for on this feature. really simple and to the point might add a third column where I rate the item or give a recommendation. Hopefully fix it up a little.

The Dresden Files: Summer Knight and Death Mask.

So in three days I read books four and five of the Dresden Files. Every time I read one of these books I fall more and more in love with the series. So Summer Knight fleshes out the lore concerning Fae creatures, while Death Mask brings more faith magic and with it more of Micheal Carpenter, the Holy carpenter.

Watership Down

Got finished with Watership Down. I really enjoyed the lapin adventures of Fiver and Hazel as they move to start a new life in a new place. So the run down, the book focuses on the trials of around 10 rabbits that move on from their warren when one of them has a bad premonition.

This Week: 3/6

This week I saw Watchman at the theaters.
Played Street Fighter IV.
Ran a DnD game.
Listening to some blues and other stuff.
And my computer crashed so no anime or other internet fun stuff.
I am reading Watership Down.

So that is what I have been up to this past week. Not quite sure where I am going with this, hopefully I will come up with an interesting idea, but don't expect these to be too long.

More Blog Stuff.

I am going to start blogging media that I am partaking in, I hope to update every Friday and give info on games, music, anime, television, internet, movies things that are currently taking up my time. They should be short and wont be too well written, but that is to be expected. So look forward to that or dont what ever I really could care less.
